1. About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to your use of themonkmedia.in (the “website”), which is run by The Monk Media (“The Monk Media”, “we”, “us”), Vijay Nagar, Sonipat, Haryana 131001, Sonipat. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
When you hire us for a service, the proposal, quotation or agreement we send you will set out the specific scope, price and timelines. If anything in that document differs from these terms, the signed or accepted document applies.
2. Using the website
You may use the website to learn about our services, read our articles, use our free tools and contact us. You agree not to:
- use the website for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- send false information, spam or automated form submissions;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its dashboard, its database or the systems it runs on;
- copy, scrape or republish large parts of the website’s content without our written permission;
- interfere with the website’s security or performance, or with other people’s use of it.
We may block access to the website for anyone who breaks these rules.
3. Free SEO audit tool
Our free SEO audit tool automatically reads a single public web page and checks it against a set of common search engine optimisation factors. When you use it:
- only check websites that you own or manage, or that you have permission to review;
- do not use it to send repeated or automated requests to any website, including ours. We limit the number of audits per hour;
- understand that the results are automated and for general guidance only. They can be incomplete or inaccurate, for example if a website blocks automated visits or changes after the check;
- understand that a high score does not guarantee rankings, traffic or enquiries, and a low score does not mean a website cannot rank.
Anyone with the link to an audit report can view it. Our privacy policy explains what information is stored with each audit.
4. Information on this website
The articles, guides and service pages on this website are general information. They are not professional, legal, financial or tax advice for your specific situation. We try to keep everything accurate and up to date, and we link to the sources of the statistics we quote, but search engines, advertising platforms and laws change often. Please check important details before you rely on them.
Prices, packages and offers shown on the website are indicative. The final price for any service is the one in the written quotation we send you.
5. Our services
Before we start any paid work, we will send you a written proposal or quotation describing the services, deliverables, timelines and fees. Unless it says otherwise:
- quotations are valid for 30 days;
- fees are payable as set out in the quotation or invoice, and GST is charged in addition where it applies;
- monthly services are billed in advance and continue month to month after any minimum period stated in the proposal;
- either side can end a monthly service with 30 days’ written notice, after any minimum period;
- advertising budgets paid to Google, Meta or other platforms are separate from our fees and are paid by you directly to the platform, unless agreed otherwise in writing;
- work that falls outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before we start it.
6. No guaranteed results
Search rankings, AI answers, ad performance and social media reach are controlled by third-party platforms such as Google, Meta and OpenAI, and depend on your competitors, your market and many factors outside our control. We work hard to improve your results and we report honestly on what is happening, but we cannot and do not guarantee any specific ranking, position, traffic level, number of leads or sales.
Be careful of any agency that guarantees a number one ranking on Google. Google itself warns that no one can guarantee it.
7. Your responsibilities as a client
- Give us accurate information about your business and timely access to your website, ad accounts and other tools we need.
- Review and approve content, designs and campaigns within a reasonable time. Delays in approvals or access can delay results.
- Make sure you have the rights to any logos, photos, videos, text and other materials you give us to use.
- Make sure your offers, claims and advertising follow the laws and professional rules that apply to your industry, for example rules for medical, legal, financial, insurance, real estate and education businesses. We will flag concerns when we notice them, but you remain responsible for what your business promises.
8. White label services for agencies
When we work for an agency as a white label partner, we deliver work under the agency’s brand, keep the arrangement and the agency’s client details confidential, and do not contact or solicit the agency’s clients directly. The agency is responsible for its own client relationships, pricing and contracts. Further terms, such as response times and confidentiality periods, are set out in the partner agreement.
9. Intellectual property
The content, design, code, graphics and logo of this website belong to The Monk Media or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with credit, but you may not copy or reuse our content in any other way without our written permission.
For client work, ownership of the final deliverables we create for you, such as website designs, content and creatives, passes to you once the related invoices are paid in full, unless the proposal says otherwise. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, methods and know-how, and of any third-party software, which remains subject to its own licence. We may mention you as a client or show work we created for you in our portfolio, unless you ask us not to or the work was delivered on a white label basis.
10. Third-party platforms and links
Our services often use third-party platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Meta, website hosting companies and plugins. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their decisions, outages, policy changes or account suspensions, though we will help you respond to them where we can.
This website links to other websites for reference. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content.
11. Limitation of liability
The website and free tools are provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of the website, the free tools or our services.
For paid services, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected service in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for any loss, claim or expense, including reasonable legal fees, that arises because you broke these terms, misused the website or tools, or gave us materials or instructions that infringe someone else’s rights or break the law.

14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it through a direct conversation in good faith. If that does not work, the courts at Sonipat, Haryana will have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes do not affect paid work already agreed in writing.

Common questions
Do you guarantee first page rankings on Google?
No. Rankings depend on Google and on your competitors. We commit to the work in your proposal and to honest monthly reporting, not to a guaranteed position.
Who owns the website and content you create for me?
You do, once the related invoices are paid in full, unless your proposal says otherwise. Your domain, ad accounts and Google profiles stay in your name throughout.
How do I end a monthly service?
Give 30 days’ written notice by email after any minimum period in your proposal. We hand over access, files and reports when the service ends.
